Here are the New and Hidden iOS 8 features from Apple.

The advent of new Apple hardware seems to overshadow the guts of the new release; iOS8. Not only did Apple release upgrades to their iPhones and present new Wearable technology, they also made many improvements and added new features to their operating system. With so many confusing articles out there, we decided to simplify the features in this easy to read guide.

Siri

                Can identify songs. Just ask it, ‘What song is playing? it uses Shazam to                                  identify and tell you

                Siri is always listening for you to say ‘Hey Siri’ and it will activate.

                Before you take a picture you can tweak the exposure for Light and Dark settings

                New Time-lapse mode

                3-10 Second Timer

Battery

                You can now see how much of your battery each app is using

Weather

                Pulling directly from the Weather Channel (more accuracy now)

                Can see 9 days ahead

                Gives an hourly forecast and a short description of exactly what’s to come.

Health

                App that can now calculate Heart rate, calories burned, counts steps, hours slept                   and integrates with other health apps so you can find it all in one easy place.

Photos

                Multiple photos can be sent at the same time

                SnapChat like feature that auto destroys photos 2 minutes after being sent.

                Recover deleted photos

Messages

                Easily send your location

                Leave Group Conversations

                Reply to messages without  changing screens

                Talk to text: instead of typing you can speak your text 

                 (relieves texting issues for driving)

App Store

                Touch ID works to buy ANY Apps you want

                Remembers Apps you want to download later

                Keeps track of songs we ask Siri about

                Tracks our iTunes Radio and gives suggestions

Locations

                If you lose your phone (or it gets stolen), it will send a ‘Last known location’ to                        iCloud

                More easily share your location through iMessage

                If you are near a store a tiny icon for the biz will appear.
